Family

Yesterday, Brenda and I went to church by ourselves. The girls had a sleep over at Brenda’s Mom’s house (Grammy’s). Brenda and I have jointly taken a leave of absence from singing in the Praise Team. I have to say that is refreshing to sit on the other side of the pulpit and just worship with my best friend and wife.  We enjoyed our interim pastor’s message and then shuffled out of there to get some lunch ready.
We had family over for a wonderful lunch and visit. My sister Lisa and her boyfriend Dave, my nephew Derek, My Aunt Joyce and Uncle John, and My Mom and Dad came over. It was a little bit cramped, with the downstairs still under construction, but it as great to see everyone and visit with them. I really can’t wait to finish up the downstairs so things won’t be so cramped. Which reminds me that I need to do an episode of RTH – Renovate This House to give you all an update. It is progressing well, if I don’t say so myself.
